Introducing the Rum Spiel 2025!

Join Thom and Phil for a shot at celebrating the spirit of rum!
Saturday March 15th, 9:30 am to 5:30 pm: $60 per curler, $30 per visitor

Rum, as you may know, is Phil’s preference for, well, everything! We have, after all, endeared him with the moniker Rum-Phil. If there is a rum that is worth tasting Phil either knows it well or has it on his list of rums to experience. Thom is more interested in mixology and celebrating with a classic cocktail or two. This unique pairing is core to what will make the Rum Spiel an event to add to your calendar… or better yet, register!

We hope to have 32 curlers who will be formed into 8 teams. We will build teams based on a lottery of registrations for each position – each registrant can submit a first and second position choice. If you have a spouse or and acquaintance who would like to attend and watch the matches have them register as a visitor. They will be able to participate in the rum shots through-out the day and take part in the breakfast bar and hot lunch. Complete the form below to submit your registration.

Registration will open Friday, January 17 th and be available through Friday, March 7 th. Once teams are built and all registrants will be notified by Monday, March 10 th. Payment of $60 per curler and $30 per visitor (warm room only) will be collected on the day of the bonspiel, Saturday March 15th.

• 3:00 – Toast (another tasty rum)
• 3:30 – Finals Draw
  – 4th End Broom Stack (and a tasty shot of rum)
• 5:00 – Awards
  – (spoiler alert, might be nice bottles of rum for first and second place)
  – Coffee, Snacks, and Open Bar
